In late 2026, several major business and governance forums are scheduled to take place across Africa to address economic growth and leadership.

In South Africa, Johannesburg will host the inaugural Africa Edition of the Global SME Forums on November 23 and 24, 2026. The event aims to support small and medium enterprise growth through global networking and discussions on digital adoption and cross-border value chains.

In Ghana, the Africa Business Forum & Awards is set for October 17, 2026, in Accra, focusing on technology and sustainable growth. Additionally, the Boardroom Governance Summit (BGS) Africa 2026, originally scheduled for October 7, has been rescheduled to November 12, 2026, in Accra. Organizers stated the delay was intended to accommodate “growing international interest” and allow continental leaders sufficient time for travel arrangements.
