Various African nations are preparing to host major summits focused on technological advancement, digital security, and infrastructure development.

In Algeria, the second Global Africa Tech summit is scheduled for April 2027 in Algiers. Organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the event aims to mobilize investment for artificial intelligence infrastructure, covering areas such as data centers, connectivity, and cybersecurity.

Benin is set to host two significant events in late 2026. The Cyber Africa Forum will address digital trust and rising cyber threats, noting that artificial intelligence is now involved in 55% of reported cybercrimes across the continent.
