Developments in Polish agri-food research and development have centered on collaborations involving the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).

In late September 2026, SGGW signed a cooperation agreement with Krajowa Grupa Spożywcza (KGS) to integrate scientific research with the agri-food sector. This partnership focuses on food processing, digitalization, and improving food security through technological innovation and student training.
