The water utility Aguas Araucanía has implemented several community-focused initiatives in Chile’s Araucanía region.

In late July, the company signed a one-year agreement with the regional fire service to provide water exemptions for 65 fire stations across 34 localities. This pact is expected to save the fire service approximately 4.5 million Chilean pesos per month. 

Following this, throughout August, Aguas Araucanía launched a series of recognition events to commemorate the Month of the Social Leader.
