Opponents cite concerns regarding noise, pollution, and traffic, specifically noting the site’s proximity to a hospital, a care home, and residential zones. 

Developers have countered these concerns by stating the facility will generate approximately 500 long-term, high-paying local jobs and drive investment into the area. The upcoming hearing will provide a forum for councillors to question both the developers and the representatives of the objecting community.
