These malicious files, often distributed via search ads and social media, aim to steal sensitive data such as API keys, login session cookies, and private wallet seed phrases. 

Following this, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warned of unauthorized websites offering crypto services under the guise of ‘AI-supported’ trading platforms. BaFin identified these operators as providing services without required regulatory authorization.
