Ajax defender Jorthy Mokio has attracted interest from major European clubs, including PSG, Bayern Munich, and FC Porto. While analysts have noted his technical talent, they also highlighted a need for improved physical conditioning to compete at the highest levels.

Despite reported efforts by former Ajax manager Francesco Farioli to facilitate a move, a transfer to FC Porto did not materialize. Mokio has instead remained at Ajax, signing a contract extension that keeps him at the club through the summer of 2031.
