The Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency, operating under the Al-Quds Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI, is implementing strategic and field-level initiatives to support Jerusalem. In late September 2026, acting director Mohammed Salem Al-Sharqawi initiated consultative meetings in Ramallah and Jerusalem to develop a 2027–2030 strategic plan. This vision aims to transition the agency from providing direct in-kind aid toward a model of “empowerment and sustainability,” focusing on economic support for enterprises, traders, and farmers while enhancing governance and digitalization. Following this strategic planning, the agency launched the ‘Awna’ campaign in October 2026 to assist approximately 2,250 olive farmers in the Jerusalem Governorate. Supported by Moroccan contributions, the campaign provides essential harvesting tools and equipment. This initiative arrives as local farmers face significant obstacles, including difficulties accessing lands due to settler attacks in areas such as Silwan, Abu Dis, and Jaba. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-06: Al-Quds Bait al-Mal Agency launches ‘Awna’ campaign for Jerusalem olive farmers The Al-Quds Bait al-Mal Agency launched the ‘Awna’ campaign to provide tools and equipment to 2,250 olive farmers in Jerusalem, supported by Moroccan funding and initiatives. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/al-quds-bait-al-mal-agency-launches-awna-campaign-for-jerusalem-olive-farmers ### 2026-09-26: Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency develops 2027–2030 strategic plan The Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency is developing its 2027–2030 action plan through consultations in Ramallah and Jerusalem, focusing on sustainability, economic empowerment, and digital governance. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/al-quds-bait-mal-agency-develops-20272030-strategic-plan --- Cite as: Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency Jerusalem support initiatives.
