Alabama has held special primary elections for several U.S. House of Representatives districts, including the 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th. These elections were postponed by Governor Kay Ivey following a U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding redistricting, with the new boundary lines set to take effect in January 2027.

The primaries are being held under a new redistricting map that reduces the number of majority-Black districts in the state.
