Bruno Meyerfeld, an independent reporter for Le Monde, received the top print category award for his coverage of indigenous populations and environmental issues in the Brazilian Amazon. In the audiovisual category, Brice Lambert was honored for his documentary, ‘Sexe faible, l’Amerique en guerre contre ses femmes’, which examines violence against women, misogyny, and religious fanaticism in the Americas.
