Inter Milan is working to secure defender Alessandro Bastoni’s future by seeking a contract extension. Following interest from clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, Inter reportedly maintained a valuation of 60 to 80 million euros, which discouraged potential transfers. The club aims to extend his current deal, which expires in June 2028, potentially through 2031, while also scouting prospects like Finn Jeltsch as long-term defensive options.

In a separate commentary, former Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci noted Bastoni’s professional growth, specifically highlighting the player’s increased maturity, leadership, and communication skills following recent challenges.
