The ALEXA shopping center in Berlin’s Alexanderplatz is marking its 19th anniversary on September 12. The ‘Sound & Art Celebration’ will feature activities such as a silent disco at the Metropolis Court and a ‘Paint Station’ for artistic engagement.

Center Manager for Sonae Sierra, Oliver Hanna, noted that the milestone commemorates nearly two decades of operation since the center opened in September 2007. The facility currently houses more than 170 shops and 20 restaurants.
