Algeria has engaged in international youth diplomacy through participation in major festivals. Other festival initiatives included training for over 100 young women in local food product processing to foster financial autonomy. Sola Ndilnodji, Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, stated that empowering women and girls is a priority for national development. The event also featured an intergenerational dialogue session titled ‘Around the Fire,’ where Minister of Youth and Sports Nair Abakar participated in discussions regarding the transmission of cultural values.
