Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand has been involved in ongoing legal and professional disputes regarding his club contracts. Following his departure from Persepolis FC to join Tractor SC, an Appeals Committee issued a four-month suspension and financial penalty in August 2025, though the suspension was stayed for one year.

More recently, Tractor SC head coach Javad Nekounam excluded Beiranvand from the squad for an AFC Champions League match against Al-Shamal. This disciplinary action followed Beiranvand’s public criticism of Tractor SC’s management, specifically regarding the club’s financial situation and the fact that players had reportedly received only approximately 7 percent of their contract payments. While Tractor SC’s CEO stated that Beiranvand’s contract remains valid, the club has referred the matter to its disciplinary committee.
