During a live broadcast of ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on October 2, television presenter Alison Hammond experienced a health scare where she appeared to clutch her chest and struggle with breathing. She was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical examinations involving her heart, lungs, and bloodwork. Hammond later clarified that the incident was a ‘massive panic attack’ rather than a heart attack. She reassured the public that she received the all-clear from medical professionals and is currently recovering. Following the episode, Hammond shared that she has been feeling in a ‘vulnerable place’. The incident prevented her from attending the Attitude Awards in person. Her friend Kate Lawler accepted the ‘Honorary Gay’ award on her behalf at the London ceremony.
