Nick Betts, a former US Army sniper and co-host of the Liberty Risk podcast, has shared unverified allegations regarding a purported secret military engagement near Area 51 in Nevada.

Betts reports that an anonymous veteran from the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) described a mission involving an elite squad deployed to a high-security underground facility via Black Hawk helicopter. The account claims the team was equipped with advanced directed-energy weapons after radio communications with the site were lost.

According to the narrative, a firefight occurred within underground tunnels, resulting in the death of one American serviceman by an energy weapon and the subsequent neutralization of three “mildly reptilian” bipedal beings by the soldiers. The claims suggest the soldier's death was covered up as a training accident. No independently verified evidence has been presented to substantiate these accounts.
