An individual identified as Amarjit Singh, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, was arrested in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab for the alleged murder of his wife, Rama.

The incident occurred while Singh was on leave. Initial reports suggested the death might have been an accident involving a fall from a roof, but family members suspected foul play after observing significant trauma and injuries on the victim’s body at a hospital.
