The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), led by Balint Pastor, is evaluating its future political partnerships in Serbia. Although the party had previously indicated it would maintain its alliance with Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), recent internal shifts suggest a post-election coalition is no longer guaranteed.

SVM Presidium member Elvira Kovač noted that the party is prioritizing communication with citizens in Vojvodina and will determine future cooperation based on ‘election mathematics’ following the upcoming votes. This change in stance has drawn criticism from the Democratic Community of Vojvodina Hungarians (DZVM), which has questioned the SVM’s credibility. 

In recent campaign activities, SVM leadership has emphasized the necessity of a dedicated Hungarian party to represent national minority interests in the National Assembly.
