The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has affirmed new governorship candidates for the 2027 elections in two Nigerian states.

In Adamawa State, businessman Abdulrahman Haske resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the APM. During a gathering in Yola, he was affirmed as the party’s candidate, stating his move was a “convergence of principle and purpose” aimed at a development agenda focused on agriculture, infrastructure, and security.

In Nasarawa State, Senator Mohammed Onawo was selected as the APM candidate following a special delegates primary in Lafia. His selection filled a vacancy created by the withdrawal of Dr. Mohamed Auwal. Onawo, who cited his legislative experience, pledged an issue-based campaign centered on job creation, security, and education.
