An agreement has been reached with Puertos del Estado and the General Directorate of Merchant Marine to relocate maritime services, including the Maritime Captaincy and Salvamento Marítimo, to the Poniente industrial port area. This move, scheduled for June 2027, is intended to vacate current facilities at the Muelle de Levante to facilitate the ‘Puerto-Ciudad’ project, creating new leisure and recreational spaces.
