The launch of AMD Radeon RDNA4-based graphics cards began with announcements from manufacturers Sapphire and PowerColor. Sapphire introduced a special edition Radeon RX 9070 XT OC inspired by the game ‘Valor Mortis’, featuring 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a magnetic ‘MagniPlate’ backplate. PowerColor released the Hellhound Spectral White Radeon RX 9060 XT, a 16 GB model designed for white-themed PC builds.

Subsequent performance testing of the OEM-exclusive AMD Radeon RX 9050 4 GB variant revealed significant hardware limitations compared to the 8 GB version. Analysis showed that the 4 GB model utilizes a reduced 64-bit memory bus and a 16 MB Infinity Cache, resulting in performance deficits of approximately 47% to 53% in specific titles during 1080p testing.
