The America East Conference has released preseason coaches' polls for several athletic programs for the 2026-27 season.

In swimming and diving, the University of New Hampshire women’s team was voted number one, while UMBC was ranked first in the men’s preseason poll. 

In women’s basketball, Binghamton was selected as the preseason favorite, followed by UMBC in second, Vermont in third, Maine in fourth, and Bryant in fifth.
