Entrepreneur Ami Otsuka has released a new book through Shinchosha titled ‘I Outsourced Everything to AI: Before I Knew It, I Was a 24-Year-Old Entrepreneur Living in an Overseas Hotel’. The book outlines her transition from a struggling student to a successful software engineer and entrepreneur in Bangkok. A central theme is ‘Director Thinking’, a methodology where individuals act as directors who set objectives and make final judgments while treating generative AI as a highly efficient subordinate. Otsuka advocates for minimizing learning costs by ‘inspecting the AI while it runs’ rather than focusing on manual labor or traditional technical foundations. Further details from the book emphasize a practical, iterative approach to skill acquisition. Otsuka suggests prioritizing immediate project application and using AI to troubleshoot specific obstacles on demand. She also notes that AI provides a ‘judgment-free environment’ for learners to ask repetitive questions and recommends maintaining detailed logs of AI interactions to maximize utility. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-26: Ami Otsuka discusses AI-driven learning and efficiency in new book Entrepreneur Ami Otsuka’s new book explores using generative AI to transform learning through practical application, iterative troubleshooting, and judgment-free skill acquisition. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ami-otsuka-discusses-ai-driven-learning-and-efficiency-in-new-book ### 2026-10-21: Ami Otsuka releases AI-driven business strategy book Entrepreneur Ami Otsuka has released a book detailing her ‘Director Thinking’ method, using generative AI to automate tasks and achieve business success with minimal manual effort. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ami-otsuka-releases-ai-driven-business-strategy-book --- Cite as: Ami Otsuka AI business strategy book release.
