Amkor Technology Korea has reaffirmed its commitment to large-scale expansion investments at its Gwangju plant following the resolution of semiconductor wastewater treatment issues. 

Local authorities in Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City and Jangseong County established a cooperation framework to secure additional wastewater treatment capacity within two days. This rapid administrative response follows a 1 trillion won investment announcement made in June.
