Comedian Amy Schumer and chef Chris Fischer have officially finalized their divorce in a New York court. The dissolution follows an eight-year relationship and a marriage that began in Malibu in February 2018.

The legal proceedings conclude approximately ten months after the couple first announced their separation. The parties have reached an agreement regarding support for their seven-year-old son, Gene, and have both expressed a mutual commitment to co-parenting.

Schumer has addressed public speculation regarding the split, explicitly denying that her recent 22-kilogram weight loss was a factor in the decision.
