Australian punk rock band Amyl and the Sniffers have announced the release of a dual project consisting of a live album and a concert film titled ‘Truth or Consequence.’ The project features performances recorded on April 28, 2025, at the El Coyote Mexican Restaurant in Los Angeles. During this session, the group performed stripped-down, country-style arrangements of their catalog, two new songs, and a cover of Slim Dusty’s ‘Lights on the Hill.’ The band described the project as ‘a noisy celebration among a beloved group of friends.’ The film, directed by longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart, intersperses these intimate performances with backstage footage.
