ANA X previously launched the September ‘ANA ni Kyun!’ appreciation campaign, featuring domestic first-class seat sales, mileage bonuses in regions like Okinawa and Hawaii, and international travel coupons. 

Building on these promotions, ANA has detailed its collaboration with the ‘Chiikawa’ character franchise. The airline has unveiled its ‘Chiikawa Jet’—a Boeing 767-300ER (registration JA609A) featuring eight characters, including Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, integrated with motifs representing Japan’s four seasons. The livery is designed to be highly visible from airport observation decks and boarding bridges, with characters extending toward the upper part of the aircraft.

The aircraft commenced domestic operations on October 19, with its inaugural flight, NH661, traveling from Haneda to Nagasaki. Following the launch, the jet will be deployed across various domestic routes on a non-fixed schedule. 

To support the launch, ANA is running the ‘Let’s Travel with Chiikawa!’ campaign. This includes lotteries for app users and domestic passengers to win original merchandise such as acrylic stands and passport cases. Additionally, economy class passengers have access to themed amenities, including character-themed headrest covers and limited-edition paper cups. Further collaboration merchandise is expected to be released at a later date.
