The International Network of Ancient Drama is organizing various theatrical events across Greece during the summer of 2026.

In Ioannina, the Municipal Cultural Centre is hosting the 8th Summer Oracle and 2nd Small Oracle at the archaeological site of Dodoni and other local venues from late August to early September. This program focuses on Euripides’ tragedy ‘Iphigenia in Tauris’ and includes various workshops in acting, translation, and movement.

Additionally, the Municipal Theater of Ioannina will present a production of William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet: A Summer Night’ at the Second Ancient Theatre of Larissa on August 25. This production, directed by Rhenio Kyriazi, utilizes an improvised stage setting within ancient theater ruins.
