Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has initiated several programs aimed at economic development and public safety in Andhra Pradesh. To prepare for the 31st CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister ordered five regional conferences in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, Anantapur, and Tirupati to promote entrepreneurship, MSMEs, and startups. These conferences, scheduled for October, will feature MSME showcases and a platform to connect startups with investors. Naidu also proposed introducing entrepreneurship subjects in schools starting from Class 7.

To drive industrial growth, Naidu has set rigorous targets for officials to convert investment proposals into active projects. Following the signing of MoUs for 714 projects worth ₹22.57 lakh crore since June 2024, the Chief Minister directed officials to accelerate the conversion process, noting that work has already commenced on 519 agreements. Strategic priorities include developing a semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, transforming the Rayalaseema region into a global horticulture hub, and building an integrated logistics network. He also called for an international-standard convention center in Visakhapatnam to host future summits.

In addition to economic measures, Naidu has advocated for the modernization of law enforcement. He called for the adoption of technology-driven policing to prevent crime and maintain order, emphasizing that public safety is a prerequisite for attracting investment. During Police Commemoration Day, he urged officers to treat victims with humanity and praised the department’s role in managing extremism and communal clashes.
