The government has repealed the previous administration’s Land Titling Act and is conducting a large-scale resurvey process to secure land ownership. Building on these efforts, the administration is moving toward the distribution of house regularisation pattas. In Vijayawada, the government plans to provide legal ownership rights to over 24,000 families living on long-standing NTR house sites, covering approximately 617 acres of land. This program follows similar regularisation efforts previously conducted in Visakhapatnam.
