Andorra is pursuing growth through entrepreneurship, regional integration, and technological advancement.

Initial efforts focused on fostering an innovation ecosystem via the Andorra Open Valley acceleration program, which recently held its first ‘demo day’ featuring eight startups. Concurrently, the Tàndem program was launched to engage students in solving real-world challenges for local entities.

More recent developments highlight a shift toward regional cooperation and municipal digitalization. The II Cross-Border Cooperation Days aim to strengthen ties between Andorra, Catalonia, and Occitania, with discussions regarding the potential creation of a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) to access European funding. Additionally, leadership in Andorra la Vella has advocated for integrating artificial intelligence into municipal management to enhance public services in health, well-being, and sports.
