Contract negotiations between PAOK captain Andrija Živković and the club have concluded with a long-term extension. While previous discussions regarding financial terms remained unresolved, leaving the player's future uncertain, a new agreement has been reached to keep the Serbian midfielder at the club until 2031.

This extension follows a period of speculation where Serbian media, specifically Mozzart Sport, suggested that Živković could negotiate with other clubs starting in January if an extension was not secured. During this time, Živković had solidified his role as a pivotal figure for the Thessaloniki-based club, notably following the sale of Ioannis Konstantelias and through decisive performances such as his contribution in the 2-1 victory against Iraklis.

Having joined from Benfica in September 2020, Živković assumed the captaincy following the departure of André Vieirinha. The successful negotiations involved direct involvement from club owner Ivan Savvidis, who expressed a commitment to achieving major goals alongside the player. The new deal potentially marks an eleven-year tenure at Toumba.

As of November 2026, the 30-year-old midfielder has reportedly agreed to terms that secure his stay through 2030 or 2031. The deal is expected to be a four-year contract with an option for an additional year. Having contributed 69 goals and 291 appearances, Živković is positioned to potentially enter the top ten players in PAOK history for total appearances and goals.
