During the 2026 WNBA postseason, Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese drew attention both for her fashion and her on-court performance.

In the semifinals against the New York Liberty, Reese gained media interest for her high-fashion pre-game appearances, including wearing a black Balmain gown and a Thom Browne ensemble.

As the season progressed into the finals series against the Golden State Valkyries, Reese’s focus shifted to her athletic performance. In Game 3 at State Farm Arena, she led the Atlanta Dream to a 97-71 victory, recording 21 points and 12 rebounds to secure a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven championship series.

During this period, Reese also gained social media attention after rejecting a marriage proposal from a TikTok creator, @tikibeen1, who attended the game in a tuxedo with a sign asking, ‘Angel will you marry me?’. While Reese did not notice the gesture during play, she later responded to the viral video on social media, stating, ‘Not in this lifetime but i have some fine friendsssss.’
