Sources: 22. Developments: 6. Belgian pop artist Angèle has released her third studio album, ‘Instinct’, following her previous album ‘Nonante-Cinq’. The 13-track project, released in October 2026, marks a significant stylistic shift toward electronic pop, blending intimate songwriting with club-oriented rhythms and ‘French touch’ influences. Prior to the full release, Angèle released the single ‘Love Triangle’, a collaboration with American singer Caroline Polachek and producer SebastiAn. Described by the artist as her “most personal and honest work to date,” the album explores themes of mortality, time, and love, reflecting a period of personal reflection following the loss of her grandmother. The project features collaborations with artists including Justice, SebastiAn, Soulwax, and Caroline Polachek. To celebrate the release, Angèle performed a free concert at the Grand-Place in Brussels, an event that drew significant crowds and required security evacuations of the square. Her return has also been noted for a visual transformation, specifically the adoption of the ‘Hime Cut’ hairstyle. Following the album's release, Angèle has faced health challenges that forced the cancellation of several high-profile appearances. While she received two nominations at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes—including best Francophone female artist and best Francophone collaboration—she was unable to attend. She also cancelled the inauguration of her pop-up store at Printemps Haussmann in Paris and a meeting with Belgian radio station Radio Contact. Through social media, she confirmed she has been unwell, sharing photos of herself using a nebulizer, but indicated she is beginning to recover. Angèle has announced a world tour scheduled to begin on March 3, 2027, with planned stops in cities such as Reims, Strasbourg, Lyon, Paris, Brussels, New York, and Berlin. ## Claims - The singer's third studio album is titled 'Instinct'.
