The Vietnamese reality program ‘Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai 2026’ experienced significant social media controversy during its run. Tensions arose after a group of contestants, including member OSAD, was granted administrative control over the official fanpage, leading to the posting of satirical content and altered performance scores. Additionally, a post by participant Đông Hùng regarding production department recognition triggered backlash from technical crew members, including dancers and stylists, on platforms like Threads.

As the competition progressed to its grand finale, the show featured 24 performers, including previously eliminated contestants Toki Thành Thỏ and 14 Casper. The contestants were organized into two alliances: Liên minh Khải Hoàn and Liên minh Kỳ Tích. The final stage aimed to fill 17 positions for the ‘Gia tộc Anh tài toàn năng’.
