Animal welfare organizations across Germany and Austria are actively seeking permanent homes for various rescued pets.

In Germany, rescue efforts have focused on diverse animals, including a three-year-old mixed-breed dog named Luna in the Gifhorn district, and two kitten brothers, Jaro and Hazel, in Gladbeck. Subsequent efforts in Germany have highlighted Eddy, a five-year-old Labrador mix in Ribbesbüttel who requires a stable environment without stairs.

In Austria, the Villach animal shelter is also participating in adoption efforts, seeking homes for Winnie, an energetic Malamute with poor vision, and Viktor, a mixed-breed male who requires a home as an only dog.
