International animal exhibitions have been held in Croatia, featuring various species and participants from across Europe and beyond.

In Zagreb, the World Cat Federation organized an exhibition showcasing over 100 cats from 25 different breeds, including Maine Coons and Bengals. The event included educational programs for children and information on responsible adoption from local shelters.

In Varaždin, an exhibition at Graberje featured over one thousand small animals, including rare poultry, exotic birds, rabbits, and pigeons. The event drew 127 exhibitors from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, and Hungary, and highlighted international demand for certain Croatian pigeon breeds.
