In September 2026, Rome hosted the IX edition of the Pet Carpet Film Festival at the Casa del Cinema. The festival, which focuses on the bond between humans and animals, paid tribute to Saint Francis of Assisi and featured the premiere of the short film ‘Senza di me’ to highlight the role of veterinarians.

Following this, the 13th edition of Petsfestival opened at CremonaFiere. As a large-scale pet event, it featured over 200 exhibition stands and demonstrations from various units, including the Carabinieri K9 Unit, Guardia di Finanza, and Civil Protection. The event included specialized displays such as water rescue demonstrations, equestrian areas, and aquatic shows.
