Turkey has seen contrasting developments regarding animal welfare. Community awareness events were held in İnegöl and Kulu to celebrate Animal Protection Day, involving mural painting by students and educational programs by veterinarians to promote compassion and animal rights.

Simultaneously, protests have emerged in other regions over animal management practices. In Bursa’s Yıldırım district, residents protested a dog farm due to environmental pollution, odors, and noise disruptions.
