Reports of animal deaths and welfare concerns have emerged across several Italian locations. In Maddaloni, authorities investigated the discovery of an animal carcass, possibly a lamb, found in a bag near an animal cemetery. In Foggia, residents reported finding dead dogs with injuries that appeared consistent with an attack, leading to unconfirmed hypotheses regarding potential wolf involvement.

Subsequent reports highlighted further incidents in Monza and Montalbano. In Monza, an individual allegedly abandoned a Cane Corso at an animal shelter after refusing support options. In Montalbano, a wolf was reported trapped in a courtyard before escaping. This event follows recent livestock attacks in the Ferrara area, prompting local authorities to announce a task force to assist farmers with livestock security and to discuss wolf management with the Emilia-Romagna region.
