Animate Co., Ltd. has announced a new line of merchandise for the TV anime ‘Gintama’, scheduled for release starting August 14, 2026. The product launch coincides with the ‘Gintama Animate Fair: Past and Present’, which will be held at Animate stores and online.

The fair is divided into two phases: the ‘Past’ period from August 14 to September 4, 2026, and the ‘Modern’ period from September 5 to September 27, 2026. Featured items include acrylic stands, acrylic block collections, and wooden charm collections using newly drawn illustrations. During the ‘Past’ phase, customers purchasing or pre-ordering specific goods or audio-visual products totaling 1,100 yen or more will receive one of 12 types of foil-stamped postcards as a bonus. The ‘Gintama’ franchise, created by Hideaki Sorachi, continues to see media expansion, including the spin-off anime ‘3-nen Z-gumi Gin-pachi Sensei’ and a new theatrical film scheduled for February 2026.
