The Port of Antwerp-Bruges, in collaboration with Lantis, has allocated nearly 1 million euros to support ten logistics projects. These initiatives, selected through the European innovation project ALTHEA, aim to shift freight transport in the Antwerp region away from road usage toward rail, inland shipping, and night logistics.

Selected projects receive up to 50 percent of their costs, with individual company funding capped at 100,000 euros and consortia at 200,000 euros. The strategy focuses on increasing water and rail transport, digitizing logistical cooperation, and spreading transport activities across day and night cycles. Participating companies include Duferco, Van Moer, AFC, ADPO, Hutchison Ports, DP World, INEOS Phenol, and Katoen Natie.
