The second season of the soccer anime ‘Aoashi’ is scheduled to premiere on October 4, 2026, on Japanese television. 

Production details for the new season involve several changes from the first installment. TMS Entertainment will manage the animation, replacing Production I.G. Kazuki Yokoyama will take over directing duties from Akira Satō. Character designs will be handled by Asami Taguchi and Junko Yamanaka, alongside returning designer Manabu Nakatake. Masahiro Yokotani remains responsible for series composition, and Masaru Yokoyama returns to handle the music.

A new promotional video has been released, depicting the protagonist Ashito Aoi’s progression into the Tokyo City Esperion A Team. The season’s music will feature the opening theme ‘Fortress Defense’ by the rock band 10-FEET and the ending theme ‘Triangle’ by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi.
