The crossover collaboration between Apex Legends and Street Fighter 6 launched on September 22, 2026, following a scheduled global rollout. The event is available across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with the latter requiring at least 80 GB of storage space.

Following the launch, the event introduced several gameplay mechanics and themed content. In the ‘Wildcard’ mode, players can utilize martial equipment kits inspired by classic characters: the Ryu kit for speed and vertical strikes, the Chun-Li kit for wall running and area attacks, the Akuma kit for ranged fire attacks, and the Dhalsim kit for low-gravity aerial maneuvers. Additionally, collecting tokens enables a fight mode that shifts the camera angle and unlocks enhanced tactical abilities. The update also features aesthetic changes to the Olympus map and themed cosmetics, such as a mythical ‘Hadoken’ melee combat object.

In Japan, Apex Legends maintained its top position on the Steam sales rankings following the event’s start on September 23. The collaboration is scheduled to run until October 13.
