Apple has launched Indie Games Week on the App Store, a week-long initiative designed to increase the visibility of independent developers through daily editorial highlights and curated collections.

A central feature of the event is the mobile debut of Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky. Developers reportedly spent approximately three years reworking the user interface to facilitate mobile play. The game, which is currently available for pre-order, includes major expansions from the last decade such as the Cosmos update.
