The city of Barbastro hosted the VI Congress of the Aragonese Federation of Amateur Theater (FATEA) and the V Aragonese Amateur Theater Showcase from September 25 to 27. The event included workshops, training sessions, and theatrical performances involving approximately 80 participants from the Aragon region.

At the closing ceremony of the congress, the Barbastro City Council was awarded an Honor Prize by FATEA. Mayor Fernando Torres accepted the recognition, which cited the city’s support for theater in cultural and educational sectors and its commitment to maintaining a stable schedule of approximately thirty annual performances.
