Aral Şimşir, a 24-year-old offensive player, has transitioned to Trabzonspor following a transfer from FC Midtjylland. Initially, Şimşir made a significant impact in the Turkish Süper Lig, leading the league in big chances created during his first four matches and recording an assist in a 5-0 victory over Genclerbirligi.

Following his club debut, Şimşir drew attention for his performance with the Turkish National Team, specifically after scoring a goal against Italy. While his international success has garnered support from his hometown of Sivas, he has faced challenges with consistent playing time and confidence at the club level, with commentators noting occasional ineffectiveness on the pitch despite his high transfer fee of 15 million euros.
