The 33rd edition of the Araucanía Binational Games, a multi-sport event aimed at fostering integration between Chile and Argentina, has concluded in the Los Ríos Region of Chile. The event served as a platform for regional integration and the development of high-performance sports talent across the southern Patagonia macrozone.

Argentine delegations achieved significant success throughout the competition. The Chubut women’s judo team secured first place in the general team classification with 36 points, surpassing Neuquén and Río Negro. Chubut also saw historic results in athletics, where Olivia Conesa won three gold medals and set new records in the 100, 200, and 400 meters, including a new national U18 record for the 400 meters. Other notable performances from Chubut included Valentino Bonelli earning a silver medal in the 800 meters, as well as several podium finishes in swimming.

Tierra del Fuego performed strongly, accumulating nine medals across athletics, judo, and swimming. Their men’s football team secured a 6-1 victory against Aysén, though they competed for fifth place rather than the championship. Neuquén finished the games with 21 medals, including four golds, securing fifth place in the general classification. The games concluded with various regional delegations competing for final positions in collective sports such as volleyball and football.
