The sixth season of the German reality series ‘Are You The One? Realitystars in Love’ premiered on August 12, 2026, on the RTL+ streaming platform. The competition involves 22 episodes where contestants attempt to find ‘Perfect Matches’ to win a prize pool of approximately 200,000 euros.

Production has been marked by various interpersonal and physical controversies. Contestants have experienced emotional distress, such as Joena’s reaction to the arrival of Laurenz Pesch, whom she described as the ‘worst man’ she had ever had. Additionally, participant Raúl Richter expressed feeling hurt after Michelle Bendig chose to spend time with Pesch instead of him.

Beyond interpersonal conflicts, former contestant Anna Lisson has raised questions regarding participant safety. While production attributed skin irritations to lime juice and sunlight, Lisson has challenged this explanation, claiming her injuries appeared prior to the activity and noting that medical examinations provided no definitive cause for her skin changes.
