Provincial and municipal authorities continue to expand public adoption outreach across Argentina. Recent efforts include various provincial appeals for children and siblings in Santa Fe, Córdoba, Corrientes, Santiago del Estero, Chubut, Chaco, and San Juan.

In Córdoba, the Tribunal Superior de Justicia reported a 41% increase in adoption applicants over the last year, credited to new strategies within the Unique Adoption Registry (RUA). These strategies include personalized follow-ups and digital outreach, with 62% of applicants discovering calls via social media. Since a 2023 system reform, 463 children and adolescents in the province have found new families.

In Corrientes, two 16-year-old adolescents, Josué and Ángel, have commenced family bonding processes following public appeals. Josué is working toward legal guardianship with a resident of Buenos Aires, while Ángel has begun virtual bonding with a woman from El Calafate.

Legislative efforts are also advancing to address specific needs. A new bill, named after Estefanía, is awaiting congressional review to support the adoption of children with disabilities. The project aims to reduce waiting periods and provide comprehensive support during bonding, guardianship, and post-adoption stages, inspired by the experience of an adopter navigating the complex medical requirements of a child with spina bifida.
